A Return to The Field: April 2025

APRIL IN REVIEW
Howdy, everyone. I hope you have all been doing well.
I want to begin this month’s newsletter by expressing my gratitude to everyone who has subscribed since the launch in late January. We already have over 150 subscribers!
April saw my return to the field. After a few months of increasing shoulder pain from my previous car accident, I was able to find a bit of relief with the proper medication. I found a few opportunities to get out during April and experienced the blooms and migration.
Unfortunately, that also meant I had little time to dedicate to writing. My apologies to everyone for the lack of content on that front. May, however, is shaping up to have a few articles and field notes for you all!

During my outings in April, one of my focuses was the spring ephemerals. I hoped to capture as many as I could, as I wasn’t sure how often I would be able to get out.
