So you have Red Trilliums up there?
Wow! I have seen lots of white to purple in trillium but never red. Trillium are one of my favorite wildflowers.
I was surprised as well to learn we had Red Trilliums! I hadn't really noticed them until I started looking. They also apparently smell like a wet dog during their bloom. Trilliums are also one of my favorite wildflowers.
